I have always loved sitting on the floor surrounded by piles of photographs, boxes of stickers and pretty decorations, scraps of papers stuck in the carpet and a great big scrapbook with blank pages ready to fill.
But when I started moving – first to London for four years and now to Colombia – I just couldn’t haul all of my boxes of scrapbook goodies along. So I’m creating this new blog as a substitute to the hobby I used to enjoy with a good hot cup of English Breakfast tea by my side.
It’s also a reminder of a time from way back when a few friends and I used to keep what we called “inspirations”. They were silly things, inside jokes and little memories. We wrote them down so we wouldn’t forget them. These are my inspirations.
This blog may not always be organised. But it will be for all of the photographers who move me, the songs, the lyrics, the poetry, fantastic novels, interviews with talented artists and people who are doing great things with their lives, splashes of delicious color, places I want to visit one day, beautiful models and fashion design, for the things that make me laugh, that stir some sort of emotion in me and hopefully it will do the same for some of you. I’d love to hear your thoughts and your own inspirations.
Dive in. The water’s lovely.

Hi there,
I am a photographer living and working in Sydney, Australia. I have taken many street portraits of people using specifically my iPhone 4 and the Hipstamatic app.
The website is: http://www.quirkyportraits.com if you’d be interested in looking!
